pre match layout

As the lightning metro one and reserves take to a light training session tonight, all thoughts are on tomorrow's first season game against Nerang. The squad that began its pre-season journey in late November, strangers to each other and the style of play being asked of them by the coaching staff, the players will take to the field hoping to take every experience and skill learnt and perform as a team, a single unit moulded together over time.

Training began and ended with the players and coaches in a huddle, giving the pre match speech was head coach Joe Borg who enforced confidence into the nervous squad, reminding them of everything that they have been taught. The squad has shown great potential with solid team and individual performances over the past few weeks in warm up matches. Stringing together brillant football at times and exposeing some weaknesses that can be improved ahead of the competition. With wins over a couple of metro one and two sides and a close loss against the Mt Gravatt Premier two team, Loganholme FC are looking to prove they belong in the league and are a threat against all sides. Although only time will tell over the next few weeks how much potential they have in the upcoming competition. Kickoff at 5pm and 7pm tommorrow night at their house at Cornubia, Loganholme will be looking to open their season with one foot forward and a win over Nerang.
